The above verse came to me in the early morning during my time of devotions and prayer. As I reflected on the millions of unborn babies who have been slaughtered, and the threat of many more, I mourned, and there was no comfort, because the innocent continue, to be destroyed.
“They shed innocent blood, the blood of their sons and daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan, and the land was desecrated by their blood.” (Psalm 106:38)
King Herod feared the birth of Jesus, the everlasting King because he feared the loss of his kingdom and power. (Matthew 2)
Similarly, I believe, those who favor funding abortion with our tax dollars, see it as an investment to hold onto their seats of power, for the execution and the selling of innocent life has become an American commodity.
But How is it possible, men and women who choose death instead of life have been deceived to believe, they will be better off, if they sacrifice their own?
Was it not the fearless parents of Moses who chose to hide him away to protect his life?
Moses’ life was spared, and he grew up as God’s chosen instrument to deliver His people from Egypt. (Hebrews 11:23)
And wasn’t it the unselfish prostitute who gave up her baby to save his life? And in return, she received him back. (1 Kings 3:16-28)
And wasn’t it the virgin mother of Jesus who did not fear rejection or disgrace, and believed God, and bore the Son of God the Most High?
Jesus Christ was born our Savior and took away the sins of the world. (Matthew 1:18-25)
They Do These Things Behind Closed Doors

Behind the close doors of the abortion facilities across our nation, thousands of precious babies each year undergo the pain and suffering of:

During the Coronavirus Pandemic, Governor Cuomo of New York signed into law a bill legalizing late-term abortion. The Reproduction Health Act (S.240) which he signed in January of 2019, allows non-doctors to perform them. In giving women the right to kill their unborn child, they have also been given the right to destroy themselves. Here is the deception: Because abortion is legal, women believe it has become safe.
Making abortion legal has increased the physical risks and sometimes death for women who choose it and years of mental and emotional distress. Will God continue to protect a nation that destroys the innocent yet protects the powerful corrupt?

Have we moved so far from God we refuse to hear the cries of our children in death chambers of Planned Parenthood, and other abortion facilities, disregarding in defiance His Commandment “ Thou shall not murder”?
“I pray our merciful God will lay it bare before our eyes.”
God has allowed ultrasound prenatal imaging technology to prove that the life of a developing baby does exist within the womb. A heartbeat can be detected as early as six weeks gestation, and the developing child feels pain. But though it has been mandated in some states to be given prior to an abortion, abortionists do not advocate for it and many discourage women from viewing their unborn child.
For many years, in these United States, many have prayed the priority in our courts and congress would be about protecting innocent life.
“It’s about protecting innocent human life, not the economy.”
We now have a president who pledges to defend innocent human life. That is why those who profit from their destruction are in fervent pursuit of destroying his presidency.
When will the majority in congress and those who sit on the Supreme Court defend our constitution and speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves?

“When I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or command locusts to devour the land or send a plague among my people, if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land
(my emphasis). Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place. I have chosen and consecrated this temple so that my Name may be there forever. My eyes and my heart will always be there.”

My Prayer
Dear merciful God and Savior, thank you for your Son, Jesus Christ who took upon Himself the punishment for all our sins. There is no sin that you will not forgive, except unrepentance and unbelief in your salvation through Jesus Christ. We pray for the millions of women who were deceived, and repented, to receive your forgiveness and comfort and to come to faith in your Son, Jesus Christ for salvation. Lord, please bring us to the place, as a nation, where all of our eyes are opened to this reality and truth. And may we refuse to be comforted until the legal destruction of innocent life is “No More”.
Then, may, “God Bless America!”
